Main function
Eliminating burr and reducing surface defect, such as melt fracture in processing (called as shark skin or orange peel), especially for those PE resin of metallocene whose MI is lower than 1.0; Decreasing film crystal point or fisheye and increasing product surface brightness and smoothness.
Reducing the buildup at die and gel spot on the film surface some time to improve product quality, prolong processing time and increase productivity
Lowering the main engine current in process to save power and then to reduce processing cost
Lessening material consumption when cleaning the machine in order to alternate to products of different colors and shortening the cleaning time by clearing leftover stain in machine quickly
It is available to applied to mixed polymer system in which their melt indexes are greatly different to solve the gel problem caused by the great difference in the flowability of material
Increasing the dispersion of toner in color masterbatches processing and improving the glossiness of masterbatches
Dosage
It is suggested that PPA be made into masterbatches of 3-4% concentration with twin-screw extruder and then be mixed with the target resin to be extruded since the effect of PPA in resin depends on the degree of dispersion. There would be 10 to 30 mins of onset time on the basis of equipment condition, base material and shear rate if it is used for the first time. But no onset time for equipments continuously processing PPA for a long time.
Application area and range
It is widely applied to improve the processing performance of MLLDPE, LLDPE, MDPE, HDPE, HMW-HDPE, LDPE, VLDPE, EVA, PP, PVC, PS, PA, PET, ABS, PC, etc.
It is available to be applied in film blowing, film laminating, casting and extrusion, pipe extrusion, sheet extrusion, drawing, blow molding, etc. It is also able to be applied in blending process of materials and in the production of color masterbatches
Product storage
It should be stored in dry conditions at room temperature. The bag should be tightly tied for fear of getting damp and caking once it is opened
