The ELM 327 is a multi protocol OBDII Interface, which allows you to talk to your OBDII equipped vehicle using a COM connection for direct input into your PC or Laptop. The ELM 327 interface supports the following Protocols :
• J1850 PWM (Generally ford vehicles manufactured between 1996-2005)
• J1850 VPW (GM & some chrysler vehicles)
• ISO9141-2 (TATA, Fiat, Honda, Hyundai, Skoda & Most imports)
• KWP2000 (Chevrolet and some imports)
• ISO15765-4 (CAN) (most 2005 & newer vehicles)
Coupled with relevant OBD-II software the ELM 327 interface offers the following features:
• Read, Display and Clear Engine fault codes (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) - both stored codes and pending codes
• Switch off Check Engine light (MIL)
• Full database built-in of generic fault code definitions
