High-quality float glass is heated to a deformation point (about 6500C) and then quickly cooled by a stream of cold air that evenly and precisely blows onto the surface of the glass to harden the compressive stresses on the surface glass. This process does not change the light transmittance and heat of the glass, but it increases the surface compressive strength to more than 10, 000psi (while ordinary float glass can only withstand under 3, 500 psi). - High safety: TEMPER GLASS is very difficult to break, but when broken, it breaks in the form of small particles, the edge is not sharp, harmless and therefore will not cause damage. While normal glass when broken will create sharp, sharp like knives, with great damage. In addition, the TEMPER GLASS glass also creates the ability to escape people in buildings when a fire occurs.
