HTB Satin Finished Balls are a fairly recent development. They are typically used as calibration and evaluation devices for optical and laser range-finder applications. These are extremely high quality balls; but they have a satin, rather than a polished mirror finish. We have supplied satin finish balls in many different materials with several different surface treatments. Some of the popular materials have been Aluminum Oxide Ceramic, Zirconium Oxide Ceramic.
A single ball can be mounted on a standard Probe Calibration Post. Two balls can be mounted on a standard Ball bar(dumbbell) or twenty( many) balls can be mounted on a standard BALL PLATE
