Adding PTFE micropower in the lubricating oil and grease can improve the material's high pressure, high temperature lubrication. Even the loss of base oil, PTFE micropower can also play a roleasdry lubricant. Silicone oil, mineral oil or paraffin oil, added byPTFEpowder can improve the oil viscosity. The viscosity of base oils and lubricants required for the consistency and applications depend on thedosage ofPTFEpowder. Usuallytheaddition levelis5%-30 % (mass fraction). Adding PTFE micropowerin resin, rosin, mineral oil, cangethigh-quality lubricants which广泛用于滚珠轴承、耐磨轴承、润滑导轨、滑块、开式齿轮、化工设备、阀门、精密加工平面密封胶等。此外，聚四氟乙烯微粉可用作石墨、二硫化钼等干式润滑剂，效果良好。可与丙烷、丁烷混合作不粘 、抗磨喷雾剂，也可作火箭添加剂。聚四氟乙烯粉末也 可用作润滑剂 中有效的油脂增稠剂。
