Slightly soluble in water (0.04%, 25C).Not soluble in ethanol, ether, and acetone. Soluble in alkaline solution. Pure L-tyrosine is stable, but it is easy to be decomposed under hydrocarbon coexistence. Transmittance 98.9％；Specific Rotation [α]D20 -11.42°；Chloride≤0.02％； Sulfate ≤0.02％；Loss on drying ≤0.09％；Assay 99.5％.
