  The OEI Type “C” Safety Clamps can be used as an emergency elevator shoulder for lifting pre-packed gravel liners, flush-joint pipe, twisted-off fish and similar items which have no shoulders for attaching conventional elevators. The Type “C” Safety Clamp can also be used as a “Slip and Elevator” combination when running large diameter surface casing or used for simplified handling of drilling risers and casing heads during installation.
