The source of Evian water is the Gavot plateau in Chablais, located in the heart of the French Alps. The
Water filters through sand formations deposited during the ice ages and then emerges at the foot of the Alps in the town of Evian-les-Bains. The water is naturally pure and has a stable composition, so it does not need any form of treatment. The water is collected and bottled from the Cachat Spring in the French Alps.
