  6-Benzylaminopurine (6-BA)(Cas No.:1214-39-7) is a synthetic cytokinin that stimulates plant growth and regulates de novo bud development, leaf expansion, delay of senescence, and chloroplast formation in plants.  6-BA(Cas No.:1214-39-7) inhibits respiratory kinase in plants and increases post-harvest life of green vegetables. 6-BA(Cas No.:1214-39-7) also increases lipid and docosahexaenoic acid production in Aurantiochytrium species. 6-BA(Cas No.:1214-39-7) treatment of myeloid leukemia cells induces differentiation into granulocytes.
