【Electric drive type oil transfer pump】
The KOSEP-30 oil transfer pump is a device that quickly puts the oil into the fuel tank inside the ship to prevent an oil spill accident when the ship is stranded at sea and quickly transfers the ship's oil to the oil storage tank of the control vessel.
Most existing oil recovery pumps adopt a hydraulic drive method, but our KOSED series oil recovery pump is the world's first electric oil transfer pump that breaks away from the existing engine-driven hydraulic system.
The driving power source is designed to be driven by a converter (AC220V → DC48V conversion), and depending on the situation, it can also be driven by using an 8kw small generator.
In particular, the main body of KOSEP-30 weighs about 30 kg, which is light enough for one person to operate, and the converter that drives it weighs about 18 kg, which is 10/1 the weight of other hydraulic equipment with the same performance. In addition, since engine hydraulic power packs and hydraulic hoses are not required, it can improve the health and safety of workers due to exhaust fumes, prevent unintentional secondary contamination due to bursting hydraulic lines, and drastically reduce dispatch time in urgent situations such as ship aground.

【 Device Features 】
The oil transfer pump (BLDC electric pump) applied to KOSEP-30 is driven by the direct supply of electricity from the power source, and has a higher driving force than the hydraulic pump of the existing hydraulic oil recovery pump. This is the effect of simplifying the driving process of the pump. The hydraulic pump of the existing skirmisher is operated through a process of 5 steps (engine → hydraulic pump → hydraulic distributor → hydraulic motor → oil transfer pump), whereas the electric pump of this technology can be operated by directly using power from the battery, thereby preventing loss of driving energy. This simplification of the process also has a side effect of removing auxiliary materials (hydraulic control unit, hydraulic line, etc.) installed inside the equipment, so that it can be made smaller and lighter than existing pumps, so high-efficiency work results can be expected.
