IEM's FlatSpot Detection System finds wheel faults before they become bigger problems and reports them directly to the rail yard
The Flat Spot Detection System is available for both low speed and high speed systems. As each train car passes over a series of 12 tread plates, the FSDS measures the circumference of each wheel and reports any detected flat spots or out of round wheels directly to the rail yard reporting system.
