Day1: Shanghai

Sites visited: Upon your arrival at Shanghai, our local guide will meet you at the arrival hall of the airport, and then pay a visit to Oriental Pearl Tower (the second floor) and Nanjing Road.

-Oriental Pearl Tower:Standing in the tip of Lujiazui in the Pudong district, by the side of Huangpu River. It can overlook the industry and commerce quickly developing on the banks of the Huangpu River. You will enjoy a panoramic view of Shanghai and have the opportunity to orient yourself to the thriving metropolis you are about to discover.

-Nanjing Road: It is the first commercial street in Shanghai. Shops and restaurants provide products and services with their own characteristics, making it an ideal place that integrates shopping, restaurants, amusement and sightseeing.

 

Day 2: Shanghai

 

Sites visited: In the morning, your guide will pick-up you at hotel and set off to City God’s Temple, Yuyuan Garden, People’s Square, Silk Square and Cruise Huangpu River.

 -City God’s Temple: It is located in next to the Yu Garden. Originally a temple built to honor the Han statesman Huo Guang (68 B.C.), it is a busy market today, specializing in traditional arts and crafts.

- Yuyuan Garden:-The garden covers a significant space and includes many halls, springs and other buildings of interest. Yuyuan Garden is surrounding by a busy market place, where visitors can find everything from popular local snacks, handicrafts, antiques and souvenirs to some famous time-honored restaurants.

- People’s Square: People’s Square has become the political and cultural center in Shanghai since 1994. In and around the square is a massive fountain named the Light of Huangpu River, 10, 000 square meters of lawns, six groups of relief carvings that depict the history of Shanghai.

- Silk Square: The silk factory in Shanghai is not only an interesting place to see how Chinese silk has been produced since the 14th century, but also a desirable site to purchase in low price.

-CruiseHuangpu River: Riding a cruise boat along the Huangpu River, you will take a glimpse of the today and yesterday of Shanghai. It will give you another way to see the Bund, the cultural district along the river. From this floating vantage point, you will see 80-100 year old buildings with diverse architectural styles: Gothic, Baroque, and Romanesque.


Day3: Shanghai

 

Sites visited: Pick up at your hotel, and then visit Jade Buddha Temple and Expo Memorial, and then go to the airport, end of this service.

Meal:Breakfast & Lunch

-Jade Buddha Temple:It was built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1875-1909) with its priceless collection of jade statues from Burma. The construction of the temple is in the magnificent architectural style of the Song Dynasty. There are monks currently living in the Temple and the Temple houses the Shanghai Buddhist Institute.

-Expo Memorial: A place which keeps the different results of World Expo.
