Zinc Ingots produced with the French Process. The French Process is a metalurgical technique used to separate the valuable metal from metal slag in a process similar to decantation; slag is turned into ingots.
With 40 years experience our Quality Assurance Engeinners are able to tell the percentage of valuable metal in the ingot by ear. They take a big iron mace and hit the igot. Depending on the sound of the ring of the ingot they know the percentage of zinc in the alloy.
