Working principle:Probe emits pulse to the object, then pulse by the surface reflection back to the probe, parts of pulse turned into electrical signal by the probe.Under the control of the electronic unit, time is proportional from the probe emitting to the distance of the object to be tested.Electronic unit test of the time according to sound velocity to calculate the distance being measured. Due to the ultrasonic velocity in gas is influenced by the gas temperature, so the material level meter need to detect the gas temperature at work, compensating to the sound velocity to ensure the accuracy of measurement.
