The difference between Robusta and Arabica coffee both lies in the shape. The shape of the coffee beans it produces is also different. Arabica beans are oval in shape with a wavy cleavage in the middle. But in Robusta, the shape of the seeds is more rounded and the cleavage that is owned also tends to be straighter.
Robusta coffee is able to adapt well to warm climatic conditions. Meanwhile, Arabica coffee can grow well at lower temperatures between 18-22°C, with a maximum temperature not exceeding 30°C.
This clearly makes the difference between Robusta and Arabica coffee in production levels even more significant in Indonesia. Arabica coffee is better able to grow in cooler areas with temperatures of 18-22° C, while the Indonesian regions have an average temperature above that number.
