No-1-.Magnetic holding power is designed hold varies thickness metal materials. The above demonstration points out that the built in magnet HOLDS ITS OWN WAITGH; now poll on it just a little bit and it will fall off =MY magnetic base will hold up to 15 to 16 kilograms. That is holding power. Please have your Engeneers check this out for future Promotion.
As the metal thickness decreases from 1/2- inch test reports??= you're losing Magnetic Holding power; by the time you go to light gauge sheet metal.
like18-22- gauge you have no holding power it all. Nothing wrong whit the magnet or your tape measures.=Just away magnet works. you need a POWER Buster. That is why I have designed this New multifunction magnetic base tape end holder.
To increase your Holding Power; You need Stogner Magnet to do that; you need to Increase the metal tape end thickness, if you do that
you need to; Recalculate all MAKES AND MODELS including metal tape length measuring tape metal part. Just move the metal tape end back and forth for outside OR inside measurement which is set to move 0.035-thousent of a inch and now you have your answer. =If you use my new tool designee it will improve the holding power of all makes and models of metal measuring tapes.
