NECTAR WATER FILTER
“Nectar” Water Filter (Gravity Model) is ideal for houses without a water supply of if pressure available is insufficient, for camping and caravanning, traveling in remote areas, exotic places, Military and Civil defense use, No installation is needed.
It will provide you safe and clean drinking water free from bacteria and harmful germs, also removes all suspended matter. Pure water will protect you and all members of ur family from water-borne diseases.
It is manufactured with non toxic food grade plastic with plastic tape. It consists of two containers, the containers are put one on the top of the other. The Elements are screwed in the upper container. The filter elements are put into the holes of the body so that the thread points at the clean water side. A washer is put on the thread and the elements is fastened with the enclosed wing nuts in the order to prevent (infected) filtered water from running through, the wing nuts must be tightly screwed in the holes that are not fit with a filter element sealed by means of enclosed plastic stopper upper container is filled with raw water. While carrying the filter we recommend to unscrew the filter element and to pack them carefully one by one.
It will provide you 20-80 liter of pure water per day* the flow of each element is more or less then one liter per hour. The capacity of both the containers is 13.5 liters (3 gallons) each. The gravity type filter easily adapted to include one, two, three, or four elements, which increases the out put up to 80 liters.
The filter has been provide to supply bacteriologically safe drinking water to internationally separate standard by being entirely effective in trapping pathogens which causes such deceases such as cholera, typhoid, Bilharzias, dysentery, amoebic and bacterial diarrhea, etc.
ELEMENETS
Standard elements are sterilized by regular boiling, deluxe and super deluxe elements have silver impregnation which kills the accumulated bacteria and over-rid the need to sterilize the boiling. Super deluxe elements are packed with activated carbon which reduce or removes any unpleasant taste and odor found in water.
A special gauge is provided to measure element wear. When the gauge fit around the element after approximately 6 – 12 months, the element requires replacing. Broken element must be discarded and replaced by new ones. If the element gets dirty or if the flow lessens, they can be brushed and cleaned with nylon or a bristle brush.
