If not, lower the balance screws on both ends of the crossbeam adjustment crossbeam, and then raise the crossbeam... Repeat this process, Until the crossbeam is balanced. Another point should be made clear: for the entire crossbeam system of the balance (including two hanging plates), the center of gravity is located directly below the knife edge. The sensitivity of the balance is related to the distance from the center of gravity to the knife edge. Adjusting the position of the sensing weight can change the center of gravity position of the entire crossbeam system. The higher the center of gravity position, the closer the distance from the knife edge, the higher the sensitivity of the balance, and the smaller the sensitivity.
