1. Material were supplied in condition without any defect, bend or warpage.
2. 100% Ultrasonic inspection would be done and cleared as per AMS 2630 CLASS-A.
3. Protective coating should be provided in the material before dispatching
4. Material Test certificates showing Chemical composition, Mechanical properties, and Ultrasonic inspection should be supplied along with the material.
Features of Megnesium Alloy:
high specific strength, elastic modulus,
good heat dissipation and eliminate shock resistance to withstand the shock load capacity than aluminum, organic matter and alkali resistance and good corrosion .Mainly used in aviation, aerospace, transportation, chemical, rockets and other industrial sectors. In the utility metal is the lightest metal and the proportion of magnesium is about 2/3 of aluminum, iron 1/4. It is the lightest metal in practical metal, high strength, high rigidity.
APPLICATIONS:
AZ31B Sheet and plate find application in medium strength service at temperatures below 150 centigrade . Diverse uses including aerospace, aircraft, concrete tools, 3C (cell phone / camera / computer), speaker cones and textile machinery can all benefit from light weight AZ31B.
AZ31B is non-magnetic and has high electrical and thermal conductivity filling the requirements for RFI and EMI shielding in the electronics and computer industries.
Superplastic forming of AZ31B sheet at elevated temperatures allows production of a wide variety of intricate parts for automotive uses. Monocoque construction utilizing formed sheet can be adapted to many commercial applications.
