in potash, thereby use as manure. Finely ground produces shell flours used industrially as fillers in
plastics, where it gives luster to the moulded article and improves resistance to moisture. Coconut shell
is used for carving, smoking pipes, drinking bowls, rubber latex collecting cups, scoops and ladles, as
trays, flower vases and trinket boxes The kernels and shells of coconut and oil palm fruits are
mostly useful due to their mineral elements present which originate from the soil and cannot be created
by plants and animals.
