In Ecology and Environment it is used for the removal of sulphides on the flue gas, in the wastewaters clarification and in waters (food using) potabilization treatment. In Agriculture as soil conditioner is used to neutralize acidity of the acid soil, as bactericidal for rural environments disinfestation, breeding barns, cultivations generally and in the Biological Agriculture. It is an essential element in sugar production.
