BIONOOR is a new concept in a form of a development circle that gathers creativity, production, coaching, mentoring and entrepreneurship to develop businesses for people with special needs and women to be self-employed and make a profit.
The overall objective of the BIONOOR project is to lead to innovations and improvements in both lucrative and social work environment. It starts from the valuation level through which the company studies the quality of each ingredient taken from the cooperatives and increases its values under the international certifications requirements so that it can be the best seller in the local Market and overseas.
The production of BIONOOR has always had a socioeconomic function. At present, its production supports many people in the under-developed regions to enhance the volume of their sales and coach them to be more productive.
Much of the BIONOOR items are produced today are made by a number of women\'s co-operatives. Also by the Social Development Associations of people learning disabilities and workshops in Morocco. It has seen a glimpse of success of a new experience with disabled workers who received a high level of coaching to make soaps, shampoos, body lotions, hair spray and the results have been amazing. Now they are more financially independent and able to start their own businesses.
Employment in the BIONOOR cosmetic production units provides women with an income, which many have used to fund education for themselves or their children. It has also provided them with a degree of autonomy in a traditionally male-dominated society and has helped many become more aware of their rights.
