Shaz For Health Inc.

y a client (Mary), because of an outbreak of Dengue Fever on St. John, to provide an Outdoor Season Lotion (re-named Canadian Woods Spray in 2010) that did not contain the toxic chemical DEET. Shaz formulated her Outdoor Season Lotion (re-named Canadian Woods Spray in 2010) and presented it to Mary, who tested it and found it to be effective. Mary ordered 6 more bottles for her family and friends. In 2003 the outbreak of West Nile Virus in North America created a new market for Shaz's Outdoor Season Lotion. Shaz began producing the Outdoor Season Lotion (re-named Canadian Woods Spray in 2010) and her other Remedies, selling them at local Ontario Farmer's Markets and local retailers. Remedies were being sold at 3 markets and 8 stores in 6 towns. 2004 proved to be a good year for the "Shaz For Health" Remedies. Interest continued to grow and Shaz did her first interview which was published in a local Caribbean magazine whose distribution included all of the British Virgin Islands, the United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Sales increased both in the Caribbean as well as the mainland US and Shaz decided to return to Canada to begin larger production and distribution.
