Winners of an open request from Russian Railways to prevent accidents at railway crossings NPP "Lossew" is a research and production enterprise in the field of prototyping, designing and manufacturing LED lighting and optics, related electronics, created on the basis of the design bureau "Cube". The staff of the enterprise includes qualified specialists in the field of design, industrial design, programming and installation. Our NPP is named after the greatest discovery of the 20th century in the field of electroluminescence called "Losev's glow". In the 20s of the last century, the Soviet scientist O. V. Losev carried out numerous studies of the luminous carborundum detector, which formed the basis of the newest direction in electronics of that time - semiconductor optoelectronics. The most important characteristics for today's LEDs were discovered 90 years ago, but the practical use of the "Losev glow" effect could not begin for decades. And today, when our research and production enterprise is engaged in scientific development and production of lighting engineering and optics, we want to pay tribute to the Soviet physicist and proudly bear the name in honor of his discovery under the name "Losev's glow".
