Khartsysk Machine Works was founded in 1897 by German entrepreneur Schlicht. After the revolution of 1917, the plant was named "Remrud" and carried a lot of work to restore the equipment to the mines of the Donbass. Since 1925, the plant owned JSC "Water". Since 1932, the plant began to specialize in the production of fire valves.   Over 80 years, the plant is one of the leading manufacturers of fire-technical equipment in the CIS and rhythmically ships its products to hundreds of customers located from Kaliningrad - and to Sakhalin, and from the Arctic - to Central Asia.
