Signifying over 130 years of invincible craftsmanship and luxury, Jafferjee began its career as saddle makers in 1880, then manufacturing quality hand crafted leather goods and upholstered furniture as well as saddles and boots for the British soldiers. From the Queen of England to the Majesties of India, Jafferjee proudly served the colonial masters of Subcontinent during the British Indian era. In 1935 unfortunately the city of Quetta was struck by a catastrophe, a devastating earthquake that led to complete destruction of the city. Soon the business was shifted to Karachi that seemed to be steadily mounting as a vibrant city for Indian trade. Over years of evolution, Jafferjee was renowned for manufacturing the finest hand crafted leather goods. Later, after partition of the Subcontinent in the mid twentieth century, the business had developed a nationwide heritage. Today, Jafferjee still operates as a family owned business with its in-house production based in Pakistan whilst operating its luxury label Jafferjee & Co. and portraying a growing reputation around the world for luxury leather goods.
