FJH ( Fernando J Henriques) was born in 1935, when the Henriques family starts the company in So Joo da Madeira, the cradle of the Portuguese excellence in the shoe industry. The second generation of the Henriques, charmed by the inventions and the manual skills of the old craftsmen, has gone on along this path, safeguarding the "savoir-faire" together with the use of contemporary approaches. The third generation of the Henriques family found the De Gier 1935 brand, to let the world know the quality of this family heritage.
