Advanced Technology & Materials Co., Ltd.(AT&M) was mainly initiated by the Central Iron & Steel Research Institute in December 1998 , In May 2000, AT&M issued 60 million A-shares on Shenzhen Stock Exchange. By July 2007, there are 1989 employees in AT&M including 2 academicians of China Engineering Academy, 42 doctors, 225 masters and 467bachelors. The rich human resources lay a sound foundation for the long-term development of the company. Refractory metal and ceramics branch has been developing from Refractory Alloy Research Department of CISR (Central Iron &Steel Research Institute) founded in 1958. As one of the earliest unit engaged in refractory metal research and production in China, over the past 50 years, more than 250 research projects have been done and 58 great achievements have been made including 9 national inventions, 40 metallurgy ministry awards and 21 national patents. Now we are at the top-level in refractory metal and ceramic material researching and producing within more than 300 sets ofadvanced production equipments and 20 sets of testing.
